United Airlines Saul Bass era Boeing 767-222 released

Hello, my first post is to announce the release of my latest paint for FS9. My 109th released paint (barring ones lost in the avsim hack a few years ago) is of a United Airlines 767-200 in the late 80s early 90s Saul Bass designed colour scheme.

This paint is a quite fitting place for me to start this blog as this United Airlines scheme the first livery I attempted to paint for Flight Simulator back in December 2007, over 5 years ago now. I really wish at this point I had a picture to show of that paint showing a comparison of how I started and where I am now with painting, but alas that paint is lost to broken hard drive hell. If you want to imagine it, picture the Project Opensky (Posky) 747-400V3 with 3 badly colour matched stripes a tiny flag, no registration and badly pixelated logos.

From those humble beginnings using Photoshop 6  I began my love affair with painting every livery I loved, mostly classic at the time such as Air 2000/British Airways/Britannia Airways. Some of which are available on Avsim if you want to find them.

For now here is the link to my latest paint N615UA as seen above.. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004acrp&DLID=174910

  2. Pretty please. I have no skill at the paintkits and don't know where to begin. It seems a lot of people have forgotten this amazing united livery. So many memories on these and I would greatly appreciate if you or anybody out there could apply this paint the the commercial level Sim 767
